Iâve been a lifelong fan of The Masters. Thereâs something about Augusta National â the precision, the tradition, the craftsmanship â that has always inspired me. Iâve even been lucky enough to attend in person, and I still have my Masters hat and pin proudly displayed in my shop as a reminder of that experience.
That same sense of care and excellence is what I try to bring into every project we build here at Lanai Doors. So when I had the opportunity to build a Folding Lanai Door System as a room divider between a conference room and production area for the headquarters in Augusta, I knew I wanted it to reflect those same principles: timeless beauty, smooth performance, and attention to every detail.
Building the Folding Lanai Door System
The door system you see here features four folding glass panels, each crafted to open and close effortlessly. The design allows us to keep the space open for collaboration when we want to feel connected to the production floor, or close it off when meetings require focus and quiet.
The white framing and classic glass layout let in plenty of natural light while maintaining a sense of structure and balance. Itâs both functional and elegant, something that feels at home in any professional or residential setting.
Inspired by Tradition and Craftsmanship
As I worked on this project, I couldnât help but think about the parallels between building something like this and what I admire about the Masters. Every year, that tournament showcases the highest level of craftsmanship, preparation, and pride â values that I try to bring to each of our custom door systems.
